We have too. Join us on December 16 for a workshop to help you prepare for productive conversations on race and racism.

Sponsored by Valley and Mountain Fellowship, the Hillman City Collaboratory, Wasat Muslim Community and Kadima Reconstructionist Community, this interactive three-hour workshop intends to advance the cause of racial equity by helping white people to have conversations about race with each other. As the anti-racism movement has expanded, many allies still don’t have the most effective tools to facilitate honest and productive conversations about race with their white friends, relatives, and neighbors.

The White Ally Toolkit project focuses specifically on the task of helping allies – especially white ones - have more effective encounters with the 55% of white people who are skeptical that racism is a problem hindering people of color specifically and America more broadly.

Developed and led by Dr. David Campt, a national speaker and expert in the areas of inclusion, equity, conflict resolution and dialogue, this program is designed to galvanize white allies and launch them into on-going engagement that will help strengthen the local multicultural movement for racial equity and justice.
