The Wasat Youth Program is coordinated by Sharief Yusuf.

Br. Sharief is a Seattle native who grew up taking part in youth programs in the local Muslim community before venturing off to study the sacred sciences at the prestigious Al-Azhar in Cairo. Br. Sharief recently returned completing his Master’s from Zaytuna College, Berkeley. He is a regular teacher at Everett Masjid, among other institutions in the area. He brings a wealth of knowledge in the Islamic tradition, combined with a passion for teaching and mentoring youth, as well as a deep connection to the Muslim community in the Pacific Northwest. We are grateful to have him in our Wasat Community.

In addition to leading our youth program, Br. Sharief teaches a class for our general community at Wasat entitled Duas of the Prophets, which is held on Tuesdays at 7:30PM.
